Using this site
You may use the site for lawful personal research and to read its guides. Do not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it to bypass a device security feature or another person's account.
Information and device checks
Our articles are general information, not advice about the status or eligibility of a particular device. The IMEI tool checks its 15-digit format and checksum, then may match the first 8 digits (TAC) to a community catalog entry. A match is only a catalog clue; it does not verify that a complete IMEI is genuine, establish the device's actual identity, identify its current carrier, check blacklist or Activation Lock status, or show that a carrier will unlock it. Confirm device status and requirements with the current carrier, Apple Support, or the relevant owner before buying or taking action. The checker is limited to two valid checks per public IP address per UTC day; people sharing an IP may share this limit.
